They kicked off with Inventions, building vocabulary and acting out world-changing gadgets in Invention Charades. On Community Inventions day, they tackled problem-solving through active group games and a swimming lesson 🏊. Midweek, they cracked the code of Game Mechanics & Invention Blueprints with board games, toys, and card games 🎲, then designed their own Future Society — dreaming up smart cities and future careers, with a rock-climbing challenge along the way 🧗. They closed with AI: The Pros & Cons, exploring how to use technology thoughtfully before showcasing their projects 🤖. Learning starts with experience ✨ And with that, our summer comes to a close. They started by creating their very own passports on Passport to the World, then played Games Around the World from Japan, Canada, and Africa. Midweek, they explored global flavors on their World Market Mission, practiced real-life travel English at the Global Hotel Challenge, and reflected on the whole adventure at Global Village Field Day — each stamping their passport along the way. Between destinations, they built skills and confidence in swimming , took on new heights in rock climbing , and uncovered the stories behind Chinese idioms.
